NRRWA successfully organized its 3rd consecutive Blood Donation camp as part of Independence Day celebration. Residents participated enthusiastically in this camp and 30 people donated blood.
Dr. Kusuma and her team from K.R. Hospital Blood bank and Mysore Medical College (MMC) rendered their services successfully. The program began with a welcome address by NRRWA President Mr. M.N.Narasimha Murthy. A detailed awareness talk on the importance of organ donation was delivered by Mr. Vijaya and Mr Chandu Patel from Mysore Medical College( SOTTO). Roopanagar residents attended the session and actively interacted and many of them pledged and registered for organ donation.
The program was coordinated by Dr.Sushma Appaiah Director NRRWA, health and wellness committee. NRRWA office bearers and Executive committee members actively participated in the program. Joint secretary Mrs. Priya Shashidharan proposed vote of thanks.
