To mark the celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Namma Roopanagara Residents Welfare Association (NRRWA) organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Dr. Kusuma, M.D. (Pathology), Blood Center Medical Officer and her dedicated team from the K.R. Hospital Blood Center (Blood Bank), Mysuru.
The drive aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and create awareness about the vital role it plays in saving lives. Residents of Roopanagar enthusiastically participated in this noble cause, reflecting the true spirit of community service and patriotism.
Over 50 residents came forward to donate blood, setting a remarkable example of compassion and generosity. Each donor received a Certificate of Appreciation as a token of gratitude for their contribution.
The event not only celebrated the nation’s independence but also strengthened the bond of solidarity among residents—proving that small collective efforts can make a big difference in society.
